Jennifer Goetz Past-President

People gravitate to Jennifer because of her situational awareness, humor, and ability to rapidly connect with people and resources.

Jennifer graduated from the University of Kansas in 2003 with a BFA in graphic design. She then went on to pursue her MBA from Baker University and graduated in 2013 as her class cohort representative.

Jennifer is most recently the former assistant state treasurer of Kansas and has an extensive campaign, marketing and communications background. She has served on the board of the Human Relations Commission, TPAC, YWCA Governance Committee and serves a large, freelance client base that includes Valeo Behavioral Health and the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center. She is a 2021 graduate of Leadership Greater Topeka as well as a recipient of Topeka’s 20 under 40 in the same year.

She is a dedicated wife to Jeff, and mother to her teenage daughter Jill. She is a lifelong Kansan and deeply committed to helping make Kansas a welcoming and thriving place to live.

Jennifer is an award winning photographer and designer and loves to help tell the stories of the people around her.

When Jennifer isn’t connecting, providing, and engaging, you are likely to find her pipe dreaming about her next opportunity to travel or hunting down new music that inspire her day. She also loves to spend time with her family and when there’s time, she loves creating art and is an art/band geek at heart.
